Eden Hazard has been ruled out of Chelsea’s next two games against Scunthorpe and West Brom, according to the Daily Mail.

The Belgian limped off inside the first 15 minutes during Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. After attempting to continue, Hazard was replaced by summer signing, Pedro.

On what was a slippery surface on Sunday, Hazard suffered a strain to his groin. This isn’t the first injury Chelsea’s star man has endured this season.

Guus Hiddink has confirmed that the winger will undergo an MRI scan but it isn’t as bad as the medical staff first feared.

Chelsea take on League One side Scunthorpe on Sunday in the FA Cup and then West Brom travel to Stamford Bridge on 13th January in what is a busy week for the Premier League champions.

Hazard’s injury will give Pedro an extended run in the team, it could also hand chances to both Kenedy and Bertrand Traore.
