Tottenham are the latest team to have their name thrown into the hat to sign Chelsea striker, Loic Remy on loan during the January transfer window.
According to the Sunday People, Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign Remy from his London rivals to provide a back-up to England striker, Harry Kane. Spurs only have summer signing Clinton Njie behind Kane and could be in the market for a new striker.
Given the rivalry between the two sides and Chelsea’s current poor league position, Spurs are aware that any deal between the two clubs will be unlikely.
Remy’s future at Stamford Bridge looks bleak with new interim manager, Guus Hiddink also preferring Diego Costa to the French striker, just as the former boss, Jose Mourinho did.
According to the report, Leicester, Sunderland and Everton are all clubs thought to be interested. Other reports have suggested the 29-year-old could be off to Turkey with Galatasaray interested.
