Brazilian striker, Alexandre Pato is reportedly ready to join Chelsea, according to the Telegraph.
Pato has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, despite manager, Guus Hiddink remaining coy on the prospect of signing the Brazilian.
The former AC Milan striker has allegedly been speaking with both, Willian and Marco Amelia, his former Milan team-mate for two years and now third-choice Chelsea goalkeeper about living in England and how the club works.
Pato has also been linked with moves to Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle during this window, but is ready to take a pay cut to join the Premier League champions.
The Blues reportedly prefer a loan move with an option to make the striker’s move permanent, however, Corithinians value Pato at around £10m.
His arrival could be the tipping point for Loic Remy, who, according to the report, has offers on the table from Russia, China as well as domestic offers from Premier League teams.
