Nemanja Matic is reportedly considering his future at Stamford Bridge after suffering from poor form this season.
According to the Daily Mail, the Serbian has been suffering from a lack of confidence and believes his career will benefit with a change of scenery.
Matic’s dip in form has been alarming after the midfielder starred in Chelsea’s midfield which eased their way to the Premier League title last season.
The midfielder’s form has failed to improve under new manager, Guus Hiddink either. The Dutchman has preferred John Obi Mikel in midfield. He was substituted after 55 minutes during the 3-3 draw against Everton and failed to start in the previous game against West Brom.
The 27-year-old has been a reported target for Juventus in the past, despite only joining Chelsea in January 2014, but he is thought to only be their backup target behind, Ilkay Gundogan. After leaving Chelsea in 2011, he re-joined the club for a reported £21m.
