Chelsea are set to complete the signing of US international and New York Red Bulls defender, Matt Miazga, according to ESPN.
According to ESPN, the defender is on his way to London to undergo a medical and complete a move to Stamford Bridge.
The deal to bring the defender to Chelsea is thought to be worth around £3.5m. Miazga has only one year remaining on his contract in the MLS.
Miazga has come through the academy at Red Bulls and attracted attention from other Premier League clubs. Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City were all reportedly interested, alongside Chelsea.

Miazga will not require a work permit to join Chelsea as the defender has a Polish passport, making the deal slightly easier for the Blues.
After representing the US national side at various youth levels, Miazga made his senior appearance in November in a World Cup Qualifier against St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
