Patrick Bamford has been given the all clear to leave Stamford Bridge and join Norwich on loan, according to the Daily Star.

According to the report, Bamford will join up with the Canaries for the remainder of the season after cutting his loan deal at Crystal Palace short.

Bamford has been linked with various moves since his return to Chelsea, with some even urging the current Premier League champions to give the striker a chance.

Hull, Middlesbrough, and Queens Park Rangers had all been linked with moves for Bamford, who looked like he could leave Chelsea permanently this window if Chelsea could insert a buy-back clause in any deal, similar to the deal that saw Thorgan Hazard leave Chelsea.

Norwich currently sit 17th in the Premier League, just five points behind Chelsea. Alex Neil will be hoping that the striker can find the back of the net and help guide the club to Premier League safety.
