Wembley deal edging closer for Chelsea
The FA are thought to be ready to call off their non-essential events at the national stadium, allowing Chelsea and Tottenham to temporarily share the stadium.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea had already agreed on a £20m per season deal to move into Wembley stadium for three seasons, starting in the 2017-18 season, as work is done on expanding the capacity at Stamford Bridge.
London rivals, Tottenham are also in talks with the FA over sharing the stadium when they need to move out of White Hart Lane.
The FA are ready to limit the number of music events held at the stadium during the summer, as well as this, no rugby union games will be held at the stadium. In addition, the FA Vase and FA Trophy finals will be held elsewhere.
However, they will have to honour the contracts they currently hold with the England national team, Football League, NFL and Rugby League.
