Juventus are thought to be preparing for the possible exit for Massimo Allegri to Chelsea as they eye up his replacement.

According to the Daily Express, the Turin side are considering hiring Manuel Pellegrini next season.

The Chilean, who himself has previously been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, is on his way out of the Etihad at the end of the season, following City’s announcement that Pep Guardiola will take over at the helm.

Contrasting reports have come out over the last week that suggest Allegri could be heading to England, whilst the man himself denies the reports whilst he is still in charge at Juventus.

Reports of possible replacements for Allegri in Italy only intensify the rumours linking the Italian with a switch to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

During his time as Manchester City boss, Pellegrini has won the Premier League and the League Cup.
