Willian has revealed that confidence is high in the Chelsea camp, after Saturday night’s 5-1 somewhat triumphant victory over Newcastle United.

The Brazillian midfielder who got himself on the scoresheet alongside Diego Costa, Pedro and Bertrand Traore told ChelseaTV that the Blues killed Newcastle off after 20 minutes, according to Eurosport.

We killed them in 20 minutes and then it was more and more easy to play.

Chelsea are on a roll and they will travel to Paris on Monday ahead of Tuesday night’s clash at the Parc des Princes when they face French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Willian has stated that Chelsea are in a confident mood travelling to Paris and the Blues will go to the French capital looking to win the game.

Now we have more confidence to go there and to play. Paris have a great team, great players, but we go there to try to win the game.

The skillful playmaker also expressed how much he enjoys playing with Diego Costa. Willian set up the Spaniard to open the scoring.

Diego is a great player. We have no doubts about him, about his quality. He’s scored so many goals. I gave one assist for him, he gave one to me. I enjoy a lot playing with him

Chelsea are still unbeaten under Guus Hiddink, the run has lasted 12 matches and the Dutchman has the whole Chelsea squad firing on all cylinders.
