Antonio Conte has identified Lazio winger, Antonio Candreva as his first Chelsea signing should he get the job in the summer.

Odds have been slashed on the Italian joining the Blues in the summer after the club’s interest in Massimo Allegri looks to be ending.

To intensify the links with Conte, the Express are reporting that Conte wants the Lazio winger at Stamford Bridge next season.

Candreva, who has previously been linked with a £25m move to Liverpool, is a full Italian international, he has represented his native side 35 times in total. He has been at Lazio since 2012 but is reportedly ready to quit the club.

The report seems to suggest that the player has fallen out with his current manager Stefano Pioli, resulting in the player searching for a new club.

Candreva is one of a number of exciting players at Lazio, who currently sit 8th in Serie A. They also have Brazilian winger, Felipe Anderson, who is attracting interest from across Europe.
