Former Chelsea player, Thorgan Hazard has revealed that he holds a bet with his brothers Eden Hazard and Kylian Hazard.
According to the Evening Standard, the brother who holds the fewest goals and assists come the end of the season pays for a meal out for all of the brothers.
The report comes after Chelsea’s Hazard has failed to hit the dazzling form that saw him win so many admirers last season.
The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder told The Set Pieces:
We have a competition every year also with my other brother who plays in Hungary [Kylian]. It’s a simple one, too – the player with the fewest goals and assists at the end of the season buys dinner for the other two brothers. I need to score and give assists because I don’t want to pay. For the moment it’s a big competition between us.
His fall from grace has left him without a Premier League goal this name this season, he has just two goals, both in the FA Cup against MK Dons and Manchester City respectively.
However, despite his poor season, Eden leads the way with a combined total of nine goals and assists to his name in all competitions.
The Belgian international’s form has improved under Guus Hiddink, he impressed during Chelsea’s 5-1 over Manchester City in the FA Cup but is yet to reach the same levels as last season.
