With reports suggesting that Thibaut Courtois is being lined up as Real Madrid’s top transfer target, Chelsea may be left needing a replacement goalkeeper this summer.
Madrid are keen to replace Keylor Navas, who is still the Galacticos’ number one choice after David De Gea’s move from Manchester United fell through last summer.
Fans will be hoping Courtois, who joined Chelsea in 2011, will stay despite the rumours.
He broke into the first team under former manager Jose Mourinho following his return from loan at Atletico Madrid. Since then, he’s gone on to cement his place in the team at Stamford Bridge, wrestling the number one position away from club legend Petr Cech
He’s won one Premier League trophy with the club, as well as one League Cup, during his time with the Blues.
Should the worst case scenario come true, we’ve analysed five potential goalkeeper replacements, just in case Courtois does leaves the club this summer.
