Chelsea welcome Paris Saint-Germain to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening knowing that they must win the game on the night in order to progress to the quarter-finals.

The Blues trail 2-1 from the first leg in Paris thanks to goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edison Cavani, either side of a John Obi Mikel strike.

Mikel’s away goal could be key for Chelsea as they know that a 1-0 win will be enough to see them qualify for the last eight once again.

Chelsea will play the tie without centre-backs Kurt Zouma and John Terry. Zouma is a long-term absentee after he suffered a serious knee injury, whilst Terry has a hamstring issue that will rule him out of the tie.

Spanish winger Pedro could miss out too as he also has a hamstring injury, although he did train on Tuesday.

Diego Costa is expected to be fit after missing the weekend’s draw with Stoke City and he should start up front.
