Chelsea’s player of the season, Willian is set to feature for Brazil at this summer’s Olympics Games, according to Goal.
Dunga is reportedly keen on adding Willian to his Brazil squad as one of three over-age players, along with Barcelona’s Neymar and Inter Milan defender, Miranda.
The Brazil manager will still require permission from Chelsea to allow Willian to compete during the summer, who will not want to harm the winger’s physical condition. If Brazil do manage to reach the final of the Olympics, Willian could be out in Brazil until August 20th.
Willian has been Chelsea’s star man this season and Dunga is keen to add him to the squad, which shows how highly the winger is thought of within the national team.
Both Dani Alves of Barcelona and Luiz Gustavo of Wolfsburg were considered but neither club were willing to release the players over the summer.
When things haven’t been so going well for Chelsea this season, it has been Willian that has dragged the club up from its feet after an embarrassing title defence under Jose Mourinho.
