MLS clubs aren’t interested in signing John Terry
MLS sides are reportedly not interested in signing Chelsea captain, John Terry this summer according to ESPN.
A source close to the league believes that Terry will need to lower his wage demands in order to secure a move a contract as a ‘designated player’ this summer.
The source revealed that Terry’s representatives had tried to secure a move to the MLS, but no one is interested in signing him as a designated player.
Terry has seemingly played his last game for Chelsea after seeing red against Sunderland on Saturday. The captain was booked twice in the second half and will miss the last two games against Liverpool and champions, Leicester.
Reports have suggested that Terry has finally accepted the fact he will be leaving the club after no discussions developed between himself and the club.
The former England captain was the last player to come out of the Chelsea academy after making his debut for the Blues way back in 1998. Terry has enjoyed a successful Chelsea career, winning all club competitions.
