Chelsea’s initial bid for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has been rejected by the Serie A club, according to a report by Fabrizio Romano in The Guardian.
The Blues reportedly made a bid of £23million plus add-ons for the Belgian international but that has been rejected with Roma apparently looking for at least £32million.
The Serie A side do not want to sell Nainggolan but money talks and if Chelsea do want to take him, they’ll have to stump up more cash.

Antonio Conte may not be officially in charge of the Blues but it’s clear to see that his input into potential transfer targets is being recognised as he is a keen admirer of the 28-year-old midfielder.
Chelsea will be active in the transfer market as they look to put right the failings of the current season which saw one of the worst attempts of a title defence in recent memory.
