Chelsea open talks with Serie A goalkeeper
Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with Inter Milan regarding their Slovenian goalkeeper, Samir Handanovic, according to Football Italia, who quote La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 31-year-old is ready to leave Inter Milan after they failed to qualify for the Champions League next season. Handanovic has never played in the competition and is looking for a move away from the club this summer.
The report suggests that Inter director, Piero Ausilio flew to London during the week to hold talks with two Premier League clubs.
Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly interested in the goalkeeper, with the Blues planning for the future after both Thibaut Courtois and Asmir Begovic have been linked with moves away from the club.
A move could cost Chelsea between £10-£13m according to the report, with both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain also holding an interest in the goalkeeper.
Handanovic is the next in a long list of players from the Serie A to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
