As per Darren Lewis of the Mirror, Chelsea have made a huge £57million bid to Everton for Romelu Lukaku, but the Toffees have already rejected the offer as they are holding out for £75million.

Chelsea know after their pursuit of John Stones last summer that Everton are not a club who will sell players on the cheap; they’ll only let a player go if his asking price is met.
Chelsea’s original offer falls £18million short of what the Toffees are asking and in an age where TV money is rife, plus the fact that they have a new majority shareholder, the Merseyside club are in no desperate need to sell.
The fact that Lukaku actively wants a return to Chelsea could help matters, but Stones requested a move last summer and was denied one, so the same could happen in this case too.
