Jose Mourinho returns to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, his first game back at Stamford Bridge since taking over as Manchester United manager.

Chelsea currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League table, returning to form following back-to-back wins against Hull and Leicester. Antonio Conte has changed his tactics, and it is proving to be working for the Blues. The Italian will know that Sunday’s opposition will prove the biggest test for his new 3-4-3 formation.

The away side, on the other hand, are positioned a couple places below Chelsea in seventh. Manchester United have drawn their last two fixtures, against Liverpool and Stoke, and will hope to return to winning form against Chelsea on Sunday.

There will be added motivation for United boss Mourinho, who will look to get one over his former employers.

With Chelsea’s fixture against Manchester United coming up, we take a look back at the five most recent results between the two sides.
