Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas is reportedly a target for MLS side, Los Angeles FC, in a report by the Times.

Los Angeles FC are set to join the MLS in 2018 and want the former Barcelona midfielder to be one of their three designated players. Fabregas is one of a shortlist of 10 players which includes the likes of Wayne Rooney, Luka Modric and Javier Hernandez.

The MLS newcomers are hoping to secure a deal for three players and loan them back to the clubs until they enter the league in January 2018, two months before their season would start in March.

Fabregas has struggled to feature this season for Chelsea, as he fails to fit into Antonio Conte’s plans. The change to a 3-4-3 has not helped Fabregas, with N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic stringing together a strong partnership.

The Spaniard has been linked with plenty of moves away from the club and could even leave in January, with Chelsea worried about the size of the player’s wages.
