Chelsea have been over-reliant at times on the likes of Diego Costa and Eden Hazard in recent seasons and you can never have enough depth in the attacking areas of the pitch.

Antonio Conte is looking to raid Serie A for some much-needed cover in attack and has identified Lazio’s Balde Keita as a potential summer recruit, according to talkSPORT.

Lazio brought in Keita from Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy for just £250,000 in the summer of 2011 and he’s developed into one of European football’s best young talents.

Despite being born in Spain, the 21-year-old plays his international football for Senegal and has three goals in 12 appearances for his country.

The winger has six goals already this term and has also caught the eye of several other clubs around Europe including Juventus, Inter Milan and their city rivals AC Milan.

It’s understood that Lazio are bracing themselves for some big summer bids for their star attacker and fear they could lose him.
