Chelsea are reportedly interested in Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.
According to a report this afternoon from the Telegraph, the Blues are plotting a double raid on Ronald Koeman’s men with both Barkley and Romelu Lukaku firmly on their radar.
The England international has not yet signed a new deal at Goodison Park and with just a year remaining on his current contract, a summer move could beckon.
The report claims that the Toffees would not be willing to negotiate a deal with any other club for Barkley worth under £30 million, so it’s clear that Antonio Conte will have to stump up a considerable amount of money if he is serious about his interest in the midfielder.
Barkley hasn’t quite reached the heights previously expected of him for Everton just yet but has certainly looked in much better form this season under Koeman, and the Dutchman will hope to keep hold of Barkley this summer.
