There may not be a better nickname and celebration in football right now than “the rooster,” and the man behind the name has not been bad either.
Andrea Belotti has burst onto the scene this year with Torino and proven himself one of Europe’s biggest talents.
With 22 goals in Serie A this year, Belotti is no longer an under the radar target and certainly will not come cheap.
In fact, Torino’s president attempted to quell transfer rumours surrounding his star player by placing a €150 million price tag on Belotti.
Belotti is a modern striker that can combine physicality with the ability to run the channels and score goals in a variety of ways. He certainly is a great talent that could complement or even eventually replace Diego Costa at the front of Chelsea’s attack.
