Chelsea Football Club confirmed in a joint statement with John Terry yesterday that the club captain will depart Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Terry has enjoyed an illustrious 22-year tenure with the Blues, winning a plethora of major honours and capturing the Chelsea fans’ hearts.

However, he’s looking set to seek pastures new at the end of the season and will look to go out on a high by winning his fifth Premier League title at the club, with Antonio Conte’s men currently sat at the top of the table by four points.

Although it will be a difficult farewell for Terry and the club, both parties must swiftly move on and Chelsea may need to replace the 36-year-old in one way or another.

So, we’ve identified some solutions to the void that Terry will leave!

Take a look at some younger centre-back options, some more experienced ones and some that are already on the club’s books that could potentially replace JT!
