Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is desperate to complete a deal to sign Barcelona defender Sergi Roberto.
According to The Mirror, Chelsea are very keen on signing Roberto and will go all out to beat their rivals to his signature.
Manchester United and Serie A giants Juventus are also said to be interested in Roberto, with Chelsea having to compete with them this summer.
Conte is a big fan of Roberto and wants to add him to his Chelsea squad as he looks to further strengthen his options.
Roberto played at right-back last season for Barcelona but started his career as a central midfielder. This makes him a versatile option for Conte to use across his line-up.
The report claims that Barcelona want £35m from Chelsea for a deal to go ahead.
It also says that Roberto could be open to the move, if it allows him to have more game-time in his favoured midfield role.
