Atletico reportedly agree fee for Costa
Atletico Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea over the transfer of Diego Costa.
According to Spanish radio station Onda Cero, as claimed by the Evening Standard’s journalist Simon Johnson, the La Liga outfit have agreed a deal worth €45 million along with add-ons for the Brazilian-born forward.

Costa has his heart set on a return to Madrid and with his Chelsea career all but over, he is looking to move on as quickly as he can.
The Spain international claimed in an interview that the Blues were pricing him out of a move away, with them holding out for a fee believed to be in the region of £50m – almost double what they paid Atletico for him.
However, if Onda Cero are to be believed, Diego Simeone’s side have begrudgingly fulfilled Chelsea’s demands and have agreed a deal with the club.
Johnson has revealed, though, that the deal is yet to be confirmed by sources within Chelsea this evening.
