Danny Rose to hold transfer talks amid Chelsea interest
Chelsea are still eager to bring in at least two new players before next week’s transfer deadline and Danny Rose remains one of the club’s top target amid interest from Manchester United in the Tottenham star.
Rose gave an eye-opening interview earlier this summer regarding the club and how much they pay their players, hinting that he would be open to leaving Tottenham if a good offer came in, inviting interest from the likes of Chelsea and United.
In response, Daniel Levy will meet with Rose’s agent tomorrow to discuss the player’s future and a potential transfer, say the Independent.
If Tottenham were to sell Rose, they are going to be demanding at least what they received for Kyle Walker when the sold the England international to Manchester City earlier this summer: £50m with a further £4m in add-ons.
Rose, 27, is currently sidelined with an injury after missing a lot of last season but is expected to return in the near future.
Chelsea do want a fullback before the window closes but will need to stump up a huge fee if they are to beat Manchester United to Rose’s signature.
