Hazard looking forward to playing with Morata
Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard is excited at the prospect of playing with Alvaro Morata, according to Spanish news outlet Marca.
The Belgian international is on his way back from injury and is reported to be close to returning, and has expressed his excitement at taking to the field with new striker Morata.
Morata joined Chelsea for a fee in the region of £60m, and has already netted twice for his new side. He has also been representing Spain in the World Cup Qualifiers, and got on the score sheet as his nation comfortably defeated Italy 3-0.
We need this type of player, one who can score many goals, and Alvaro can do that. We are happy with him, he is a good person, he’s talkative, even in English. We are looking forward to playing together.
Hazard, on the way back from a fractured ankle, has played twice for Belgium in their qualification matches, and is set to return to the Chelsea starting eleven in the near future.
In the interview with a Marca, Hazard said he thought Morata had enough experience to succeed in the Premier League, after enjoyable spells at Real Madrid and Juventus.
I’ve never played with him but I’m looking forward to it. He is still very young, but he has won many titles with Juventus and Madrid, so he has a lot of experience.
