Chelsea are expected to field a heavily rotated side against Qarabag in the Champions League this week but one Blues player has hinted that he’s in line for a rare first-team opportunity.
Young midfielder Charly Musonda has hinted on Instagram that he is in line to start against the Champions League minnows.
The 20-year-old can play in central midfield or on either wing and Antonio Conte looks set to place his trust in the young attacker in the Champions League with the likes of Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard expected to be rested.
Musonda spent a year on loan with Real Betis, making 24 appearances and scoring once before returning to Chelsea in January 2017 but he failed to feature in the first-team as the Blues captured the Premier League title.
Conte has handed two substitute appearances to the Belgian already this season, making his Premier League debut on the opening day against Burnley but Musonda appears set for his first Chelsea start this week.
