Chelsea goalkeeper Bradley Collins has been accused of spitting at Lincoln defender Sean Raggett.

Collins is currently on loan to League Two side Forest Green Rovers and was embroiled in controversy during his latest game for the newly promoted side.

After the alleged spitting, a number of Lincoln players confronted the young shot-stopper. This led to a very heated end to the game, leaving the referee to make a decision, although no punishment was given to Collins.

Lincoln have now lodged an official complaint to the FA and Lincoln manager Danny Crowley has made it clear that it was a spit from Collins.

Speaking to The BBC, Crowley said this:

Their goalkeeper spat at Sean Raggett, so that’s what is all started from. We are categorical on that. I am not hiding from it. That’s what he did and our players reacted as a consequence of that. We always want them to keep their discipline but sometimes when you are provoked like that, then naturally you can lose your cool.

Forest Green Rovers are yet to make a comment on the situation but could be forced to if the FA take action on Collins.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper is yet to make an appearance for Chelsea’s first-team. However, he has been involved in Chelsea’s FA Youth Cup successes over the past few years.
