Chelsea goalkeeper says that they are playing Arsenal at a good time ahead of their clash at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
The Blues host Arsenal on Sunday as they look to continue their good run of form in all competitions.
Antonio Conte’s men have won their last four games, beating Tottenham, Everton, Leicester and Qarabag.
Chelsea beat Qarabag 6-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday, equalling their biggest ever win in the competition.
As quoted by The Belfast Telegraph, Courtois said this:
It is a good time to face Arsenal now. Everybody is healthy and things are going well. We won at Leicester, won comfortably (on Tuesday night) and will go into the Arsenal game with a good feeling. We are doing well. After the bad first half against Burnley, I think all our performances have been good. We have shown good spirit, good football and good wins most importantly of all. Do we feel like we are in a good place? Yes. Sometimes it is good to face a big team early. Last year it didn’t work out against Liverpool and Arsenal, but this season we have already won at Tottenham.
Courtois comes into the game with two clean sheets this season, which he will be looking to add to against Arsenal.
The Belgian shot-stopper won the Premier League Golden Glove last season as Chelsea won the title and was one of the best ‘keepers in Europe.
Chelsea have already faced Arsenal this season – in the Community Shield – and lost on penalties.
Conte’s side are currently three points ahead of Arsenal in the table.
