PSG offer Chelsea target Cavani to Real Madrid
The future of Edinson Cavani has been cast into doubt following a falling out with teammate Neymar and there has been a lot of talk that he could be made available for transfer.
Chelsea have been mentioned alongside Everton and former club Napoli as potential suitors for the Uruguayan centre-forward but the could face some strong competition for his signature.
According to Spanish source AS, as quoted by Sky Sports, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has reportedly offered Cavani to reigning La Liga and Champions League winners Real Madrid.
Madrid have a star-studded attack and have recently tied Karim Benzema down to a new contract but both Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo have been heavily linked with moves away from the Bernabeu.
Cavani, who as scored 139 goals in 206 appearances over the last four years since joining PSG from Napoli for a reported £58m, would be another world class addition to the Madrid attack and would offer insurance if one of their front-line players pick up an injury.
