Chelsea’s lack of striker depth this season has been criticised by both fans and media alike, but the Blues could make moves to rectify that in the near future.
Antonio Conte’s side are one of a few clubs said to be keeping tabs on highly-rated Athletic Bilbao striker Gorka Guruzeta, according to Fichajes, but they could face competition from Tottenham for his signature.
The 21-year-old Spaniard is a product of Bilbao’s Basque-only youth system and currently plays for Bilbao Athletic in Spain’s third tier but has hit a rich vein of form.

Able to play on either wing of through the middle of the attack, Guruzeta finished last season with four goals in his final six league games and has started the 2017/18 in fine form also, finding the net four times in 10 games thus far.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, Chelsea can approach Guruzeta in January regarding a free transfer move to Stamford Bridge where he can join fellow Spaniard Alvaro Morata, Marcos Alonso, Cesc Fabregas and Cesar Azpilicueta.
