Bakayoko has overseen a mixed start to life at Chelsea following a good season at AS Monaco. He suffered a stuttering opening to his tenure as he nursed a knee injury, but has shown signs of promise, along with signs of adjustment.
The towering midfielder will hope to develop some form for Chelsea in the coming months, as he aims to put himself in contention for Deschamps’ World Cup squad.
