Schalke have renewed their interest in singing Chelsea defender Baba Rahman on a further loan deal next month after having the player on-loan last season.
The sporting director at Schalke, Christian Heide, has given a big indication that the club will move for the Ghana international when the window reopens.
During his spell with the German club last season, Rahman performed well but saw his spell cut short by an injury which was picked up on international duty in January.
He still remains out injured after completing his rehab back at Chelsea and is expected to be back for the New Year.
Is Baba ready to help us in the second half of the season? You have to see,
Chances have been limited for the 22-year-old at Chelsea as he has made just 15 appearances after joining the club in 2015 and it looks likely that he will be allowed to leave in January, provided that he is fully fit and ready to play competitive football once again.
