PSG turn their attentions away from Conte
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is no longer PSG’s first choice option to replace Unai Emery at the helm, according to reports.
The Blues boss has long been linked with a move to the free-spending French giants. However, it seems they have turned their attentions away from Conte, who remains happy at Chelsea.
It’s claimed by Gazzetta dello Sport out in Italy, as cited by talkSPORT, that Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is now PSG’s top target.
Allegri has done a stellar job at Juve since his arrival and has helped them establish themselves as Italy’s most feared team. However, it seems PSG are aiming to lure him away from Turin.
Conte’s future has been heavily scrutinised for a few months now but it seems PSG’s interest is cooling, which is sure to be music to the ears of Chelsea fans.
Ligue 1 leaders PSG may encounter some trouble in landing Allegri, though. The impressive manager is contracted to Juventus until the summer of 2020, meaning it’d take some offer from PSG to tempt Juve to let go of their boss.
