Chelsea are keen to add some attacking talent to their ranks in the January transfer window and in recent weeks the Blues have been linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen wide man Leon Bailey.
Bailey only signed for Leverkusen in the last January transfer window from Genk in a deal worth a reported £12m but has impressed in the Bundesliga in the last 12 months, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in 16 appearances so far this season.
The 20-year-old Jamaica international has earned rave reviews this season and is also a reported target for Manchester United and Arsenal, but in an interview with German newspaper Bild, Bailey confirmed his desire to play in the Premier League.
Basically, England was and still is my dream. And if I keep working hard, I’m sure it will work someday.
Both Eden Hazard and Willian have been linked with moves away from Chelsea to Real Madrid and Manchester United respectively, but Antonio Conte wants to add to his attacking contingent at Stamford Bridge and Bailey seems high on their shortlist.
