Azpilicueta warns Chelsea that there is no room for error

Cesar Azpilicueta has attempted to rally the troops following Chelsea’s embarrassing defeat away at Manchester City, as per a report from Football London.

The Spaniard spoke after the 1-0 loss at the Etihad Stadium, in which the Blues barely competed as Antonio Conte settled for a close but insufficient scoreline.

Azpilicueta highlighted the importance of competing on three fronts for Chelsea as they go in search of silverware this season.

We have lost a lot of games already and we don’t have space to make another error. We have to go game by game, try to win all of our fixtures and qualify for the Champions League.

They’re out to secure a place in the top four of the Premier League but remain in with a chance of progressing in both the FA Cup and the Champions League.

We know we can’t waste a chance to get the qualification through the Champions League. We have three targets to aim for this season, including the FA Cup, and we need to go for all of them.

In what has been a dismal campaign for Chelsea, Azpilicueta has once again been a shining light. The Spaniard has consistently turned in resolute displays at the back and is evidently desperate for the club to get back on track.

Chelsea take on Crystal Palace at home on Saturday evening in what can only be described as a must-win game for the Blues.

We have a massive game against Crystal Palace at home on Saturday and we have to focus on the nine games we have left to get that Champions League spot.
