Madrid eye move for young goalkeeper as Courtois alternative
Real Madrid are eyeing up a move for Croatian youngster Karlo Letica as an alternative to Thibaut Courtois.
Marca report that Real Madrid are keeping tabs on the player who is impressing at Hajduk Split.
The report goes as far as suggesting that a move could be imminent after the club made contact with the player’s agent to sound out a move.
Madrid have been heavily linked with moves for both Thibaut Courtois and Manchester United’s David De Gea.
Courtois himself has failed to distance himself from a move back to Spain but Chelsea will be desperate to keep the Belgian at Stamford Bridge.
The Spanish side have been long-term admirers of both Courtois and his Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard.
Keylor Navas has failed to convince many at Madrid that he is the long-term solution to their goalkeeping problem.
Madrid did have a deal to sign Athletic Bilbao’s Kepa Arrizabalaga earlier in this season but the move broke down.
