AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has been linked with a move to Chelsea recently.
It’s been claimed that the Blues are making contingency plans in preparation for Thibaut Courtois’ potential departure, with Italian youngster Donnarumma one name under consideration.
However, as quoted by the Daily Mail, the Milan shot stopper has refuted claims that he could move on in the near future and has insisted that he is happy with life at San Siro.
I’m calm and happy, I go forward with serenity (at Milan).
Donnarumma is one of the world’s most coveted goalkeepers and he has been linked with moves to a number of top clubs around Europe. He evidently has an emotional attachment to Milan, though, and is in line to stay for some more years yet.
Chelsea themselves will be desperate to hold on to Courtois this summer but contract negotiations with the Belgian international have reached an impasse.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Courtois.
