# Twitter Reacts to Pedro Deal

Chelsea look to have hijacked Manchester United’s move for Barcelona frontman Pedro in a [£22 million deal](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11811742/Chelsea-confident-of-signing-Pedro-with-forward-due-in-London-today.html), much to the dismay of Manchester United fans. Indeed United’s executive vice-chairmanm [Ed Woodward flew to Catalonia, Spain](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/pedro-to-manchester-united-united-chief-executive-ed-woodward-flies-to-spain-to-complete-deal-10459992.html) to close the deal. It seems the transfer hit some unexpected turbulence.
