# Cuadrado to Atletico?

According to the [Guardian](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/oct/15/football-transfer-rumours), Diego Simeone is a big fan of Chelsea flop, Juan Cuadrado.

Atletico Madrid were [linked](https://www.ibtimes.co.uk/chelsea-boosted-arda-turan-race-atletico-madrid-keen-juan-cuadrado-filipe-luis-1508794) with a move for the Colombian winger before he was sent on loan to Juventus after failing to settle in England.

Since joining Juventus, Cuadrado has played a big role in their starting eleven and has featured heavily in both Serie A and the Champions League.

Simeone may now decide to make a move for Cuadrado at the end of the season before Juventus attempt to make to move a permanent switch. These reports have emerged just days after [reports](https://talksport.com/football/reports-chelsea-monitoring-atletico-madrid-ace-koke-ahead-potential-january-swoop) that stated Chelsea were keen on not one, but three of Atletico’s stars.

Griezeman, Koke and Diego Godin, and Diego Simeone himself have all been listed as possible Chelsea targets over the summer, so maybe, just maybe, Cuadrado could be used as bait in a possible swap deal with the Spanish side.
