# Mourinho going nowhere says Mendes

Jorge Mendes, the agent of Jose Mourinho, has revealed that the special one isn’t going to be leaving Chelsea anytime soon.

Speaking to [BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34730587), Mendes confirmed that Mourinho is set to stay at Chelsea and he has every faith in the manager to solve the club’s problem.

Mourinho’s future has been the centre of attention in recent weeks following Chelsea’s abysmal start to the Premier League season. [Reports](https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/premier-league/2015-2016/chelsea-crisis-mourinho-could-be-gone-after-saturday-s-trip-to-stoke-win-or-lose_sto4975220/story.shtml) even suggested that either the Kyiv game or the Stoke game on Saturday could be his last game.

Mendes said:

> He doesn’t need to prove anything to anybody, he knows what to do. Many people are saying these things but there is no chance \[he will leave\]. He will solve the problem. He is the best.

The Stamford Bridge faithful roared in support of Mourinho last night and as one, the stadium consistently showed their support for Mourinho with constant singing and chanting.

Mourinho praised the fans during his post-match press conference, and he admitted the lengths he would go to, for the Chelsea supporters, claiming he will “give everything for them.”

There is still plenty of work to be done for Chelsea and Mourinho, they will now travel to Stoke on Saturday for the late kick-off, with the club sat 15th in the Premier League.
