# Chelsea make Griezmann number one target

Following their defeat at home to Bournemouth, Chelsea have prioritised their January wish-list.

Antoine Griezmann is thought to be at the top of that list, according to the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-prioritise-antoine-griezmann-transfer-6959276), as Mourinho looks to add reinforcement to his attack.

Diego Costa has failed to rediscover the form of last season and his future at the club has been put under doubt following a clash with Mourinho against Tottenham.

Despite Mourinho denying any rift, [reports](https://readchelsea.com/2015/11/26/odds-slashed-on-diego-costa-to-return-to-atletico-madrid/) of an exit for Costa continue.

Griezmann has been a long-term target for Chelsea, and Sky Sports’ Guillem Balague recently [said](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12087/9973939/cristiano-ronaldos-best-times-may-be-in-the-past-says-guillem-balague) that the striker could leave Madrid this summer.

The French international has scored seven times in 14 La Liga appearances already this season and would definitely add pace and goals to the Chelsea attack.

Griezmann is also a target for Manchester City and Bayern Munich, according to [reports](https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjHzPDtjMfJAhUIrxoKHauRBrgQFggtMAI&url=http%3A%2F%2Fmetro.co.uk%2F2015%2F11%2F19%2Fbayern-munich-line-up-transfer-of-atletico-madrids-antoine-griezmann-as-manchester-united-seal-arjen-robben-deal-report-5513147%2F&usg=AFQjCNF8ipX6V5PASdBDdJh88LFbtmB8WA&sig2=ete6JFJR1q0iN14kJD1xcg&bvm=bv.108538919,d.ZWU), so Chelsea may well have to pay big money to land the Frenchman.
