# Hazard doesn’t have the right mentality says Stan Collymore

Eden Hazard doesn’t have the right mentality to succeed at a top club like Real Madrid or Bayern Munich according to Stan Collymore.

Writing in his column that features in the [Sunday People](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/eden-hazard-doesnt-mentality-make-7148592), Collymore believes that should either of the aforementioned clubs submit a £60m bid the Belgian, the Premier League side would be silly to turn it down.

Collymore said:

> If Real Madrid or Bayern Munich offer £60million for Eden Hazard in the summer then Chelsea should bite their hands off.I’d let him go if I were in charge at the Blues, I really would,

Last season’s Player of the Year, has been [linked](https://readchelsea.com/2016/01/08/premier-league-rivals-interested-hazard/) with moves away from Stamford Bridge after failing to live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge this season.

> But the Eden Hazard I saw at Crystal Palace, when he came off with a mysterious injury on a miserable, rainy night, and the one I saw at Leicester, when he went off, then on again, then off again, told me everything I needed to know.

He is yet to find the back of the net for the Blues and top European clubs, such as Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are thought to be lining up moves for him.

Collymore compared Hazard’s current situation to former Chelsea defender, David Luiz:

> And, as they did with David Luiz, Chelsea should be looking to move him on for a hefty pay day. Ultimately, though, it is his mentality that will cost Hazard. Should he get his move to Real I’m convinced he will end up getting eaten up and spat out to a Schalke or a Bayer Leverkusen in two or three years, leaving Chelsea laughing all the way to the bank.

Various [reports](https://readchelsea.com/2016/01/07/hazard-decides-leave-chelsea-summer/) have suggested that Hazard has previously told his friends and family that he will leave the club in the summer, however, these reports have been played down by the player’s [father](https://readchelsea.com/2016/01/08/thierry-hazard-eden-focused-chelsea/).
