# John Terry set to be offered managerial role

Chelsea captain John Terry looks set to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires and Danish side Brondby are reportedly interested in offering him the chance to become the club’s manager.

According to John Cross of [The Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-captain-john-terry-set-7552095), Terry is friends with Brondby’s owner Jan Bech Andersen and the businessman has already spoken to the Chelsea legend about the possibility of him taking over the club.

Former Brondby manager Thomas Frank quit the club earlier this month after it was [reported](https://www.bold.dk/fodbold/nyheder/thomas-frank-faerdig-i-broendby/) that Andersen had criticised him on an online fan forum using a pseudonym.

Cross goes on to say that Terry has offers to continue his playing career and has the chance to move to the Middle East or to China if he wishes, but if the 35-year-old decides to hang up his boots, it looks like he already has the opportunity to move to the dugout.
