The clubs have reportedly held discreet talks regarding a possible move for the 28-year-old and believe that a deal could be struck between the two parties.

It may not just be Higuain coming to Chelsea from the Serie A this summer, the Blues believe that a deal for Radja Nainggolan will also be completed this summer.
