# Should Chelsea sell Nemanja Matic?

Nemanja Matic has been linked with several moves away from Chelsea throughout this season.

None more so than now with Jose Mourinho set to take over as Manchester United manager. Mourinho is [reportedly](https://readchelsea.com/2016/05/09/matic-waiting-for-manchester-united-offer/) keen to take the Serbian, who was so impressive for Chelsea during their title-winning season, to Old Trafford.

Matic is clearly unhappy at Stamford Bridge and after a season to forget in London, he’s dropped [hints](https://readchelsea.com/2016/05/09/matic-explains-his-subdued-celebrations-against-sunderland/) about his future. He has been in and out of the team under both Mourinho and Guus Hiddink. The Dutchman arrived and preferred a midfield duo of Cesc Fabregas and John Obi Mikel.

As well as Manchester United, Juventus have also been [linked](https://readchelsea.com/2016/01/03/matic-is-juventus-second-choice-behind-gundogan/) with a move for the Serbian midfielder. However, that could now be in doubt after their [pursuit](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3608509/Barcelona-defence-turmoil-Javier-Mascherano-agrees-three-year-deal-Juventus-Dani-Alves-considers-future.html) of former Liverpool midfielder, Javier Mascherano.
