# Predicted XI vs Liverpool

Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Swansea on Sunday ended Antonio Conte’s perfect start to life in the Premier League as the new Blues boss on a frustrating afternoon in Wales.

Diego Costa fired home just shy of the 20 minute mark to give the Blues a deserved lead, but the away side failed to capitalise on a dominant display.

Chelsea had numerous chances to put the result beyond any doubt but a reckless tackle from Thibaut Courtois and a poor refereeing decision gave Swansea a quick-fire double before Costa’s emphatic overhead-kick levelled the score.

Conte’s Chelsea now sit two points behind Manchester City in the table ahead of Friday evening’s clash against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

The Merseyside club travel to London off the back of a 4-1 victory against champions Leicester, in a display which could have seen them score six or seven.

Conte, I’m sure, will be working on ways to nullify Jurgen Klopp’s prolific attacking options in what is set to be a mouth-watering encounter in both club’s first Friday night fixture of the season.

Here’s how we think Conte will line-up for his first major test of the season.
