# Match preview: Liverpool (H)

Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from a disheartening 2-2 draw with Swansea on Friday night, as they take on Liverpool under the lights at Stamford Bridge.

Antonio Conte will feel aggrieved at the fact that a blatant foul wasn’t given against Swansea midfielder Leroy Fer, which led to Swansea’s second goal.

The form of Spanish striker Diego Costa, on the other hand, is far more positive as he added two more goals – including a spectacular overhead kick, to his tally for the season. The two goals have now placed Costa at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts this season – with four goals in four games.

Liverpool meanwhile recorded a very comfortable 4-1 win over reigning Premier League champions Leicester City – with the potent attacking trio of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana all grabbing goals against the Foxes. Whilst returning striker Daniel Sturridge also looked sharp.

Liverpool’s vulnerability at the back is still a problem, however – with Lucas’ shocking back pass against Leicester testament to their recent troubles.

Both Dejan Lovren and Emre Can are in contention to return for the clash at Chelsea, but Joe Gomez and Sheyi Ojo remain long-term injury concerns. Klopp confirmed that German, Can, may not be up to speed in time for the game.

Chelsea can expect to see David Luiz starting against Liverpool – after John Terry was seen leaving the game at Swansea on crutches, he rolled his ankle towards the end of the game. Kurt Zouma also remains out for the Blues.
